Job Title: Front Desk Customer Service Representative

Role Overview:
The Front Desk Customer Service Representative serves as the first point of contact for customers visiting the water utility office. This position is responsible for providing professional, accurate, and courteous service to customers making payments, opening new water service accounts, and requesting assistance. The role also supports phone inquiries as needed and assists with general office and administrative functions while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers in person in a professional and courteous manner
  • Process customer payments accurately, including cash, checks, and electronic payments, in accordance with company policies
  • Open new water service accounts and ensure all required documentation is collected and properly completed
  • Explain service start-up requirements, deposits, fees, and billing procedures to customers
  • Answer incoming phone calls when needed and assist customers with general inquiries
  • Direct customer requests to the appropriate department when necessary
  • Maintain accurate customer records, payment transactions, and account updates in the billing system
  • Review of customer documentation for accuracy and completeness
  • Assist customers with basic billing questions and provide clear explanations of policies and procedures
  • Support general front desk and administrative duties, including filing, scanning, and data entry
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front office environment
  • Follow established customer service standards, policies, and procedures

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Entry-level position: prior customer service or office experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn billing and customer service systems
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers in person and over the phone

Job Title: Field Worker

Role Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Field Worker to join our team at Paseo Del Este MUD. In this role, you will play a part in executing on-the-ground projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute project tasks in collaboration with team members and community stakeholders.
  • Provide support in organizing and leading community outreach efforts and educational programs
  • Maintain accurate records of field activities, observations and findings.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Act as a liaison between the organization and the communities we serve, building strong relationships and trust.

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work in various outdoor environments and conditions.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience in field work.
